Xenomorph Joins Microsoft's Cloud Platform

Analytics firm Xenomorph is bringing its data-management program to Microsoft's cloud platform, Windows Azure.

The firm's TimeScape system has been enabled for use with Windows Azure, giving clients the option of cloud-based installation of the program to complement on-site use, Xenomorph said Wednesday. TimeScape offers data-management and analysis tools that financial firms can use for trading, risk management, information technologies and back-office functions, the news release says.

"The availability of both on-premise and cloud deployment of TimeScape offers more flexibility in system deployment, control of infrastructure costs and global availability of data and analytics," said Xenomorph Chief Executive Brian Sentance in the release. "Some of our clients have followed the pattern of successful on-premise deployment and once this business logic is production proven, they then want to move it offsite."

Founded in 1995, Xenomorph has offices in New York, London and Singapore.
