American Banker on Oct. 1 announced its 10th annual ranking of the Most Powerful Women in Banking and Finance.
The ranking is composed of three lists: the 25 Most Powerful Women in Banking, recognizing the most influential female leaders in the banking industry; the 25 Most Powerful Women in Finance, recognizing women in the non-bank finance sector including capital markets, asset management, investment banking and card networks; and the 25 Women to Watch, which spotlights up-and-comers along with more seasoned executives who have moved into new roles within the past year. Additionally, six companies were recognized as Top Teams for their work in developing and promoting female talent and teamwork.
