Codorus Valley in Pa. Gives Chairman Title to CEO Miller

Codorus Valley Bancorp in York, Pa., has given Chief Executive Larry Miller the additional title of chairman, after its longtime chair retired.

The $1.4 billion-asset company said Rodney Krebs retired on Aug. 9 after he reached the its mandatory retirement age of 75. Krebs retired as chairman of both Codorus Valley and PeoplesBank.

Krebs had been chairman since 2000 and had been a director since 1988. Krebs is president of Springfield Contractors, a heavy equipment and earth-moving firm in Glen Rock, Pa.

"We wish Rod a long, happy, and healthy retirement and thank him for his many decades of service," Miller said in a news release.

Miller has been CEO since 1981 and president since 1986. Miller has also been vice chairman of the bank and holding company since 2004.

Codorus Valley also named director Reed Anderson vice chairman, succeeding Miller.
