Cooking with veterans
Prior to Independence Day, veterans received new Crock-Pots from employees of the Fort Worth, Texas-based Tarrant's County Credit Union.
Supporting veterans
Keesler Federal Credit Union sponsored its eighth annual Eagles Under the Oaks golf tournament, which saw the Biloxi, Miss.-based institution raise over $31,000 in support of wounded veterans.

A rainy day didn't halt the 2019 AmeriCU's Salute to the Troops Tribute Concert, which witnessed attendance from soldiers and their families along with New York residents.
Ovar'coming Together
Indiana Members Credit Union presented a $10,000 check to Ovar'coming Together, a local nonprofit helping fund the fight against cancer The monies were raised via the Indianapolis-based institution's cancer-awareness debit card program.
Excellent savings
Jax Federal Credit Union earned an America Saves "Designation of Savings Excellence" in recognition of the Jacksonville, Fla.-based institution's efforts help membership save money.
Enhancing financial literacy
Stratford's Business Education Support Team awarded Sikorsky Financial Credit Union a "Best Friends" award in recognition of the Stratford, Conn., CU's efforts in financial literacy.

Fairfax, Va.-based Apple Federal Credit Union was the recipient of the Greater Washington Good Business of the Year award within the mid-size company category at the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce's annual ceremony.
Future Pats players?
For the sixth year of the row, Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union of Lowell, Mass., sponsored a one-day free football clinic, inviting more than 100 youngsters to play ball with members of the New England Patriots Alumni Club.
CU in the YMCA lobby
American 1 Credit Union of Jackson, Mich., gifted $600,000 to the Jackson YMCA's Capital Campaign. The funds will be put toward the building's new lobby.
A record month
Employees of Elevations Credit Union announced a contribution of 1,490 volunteer hours during the Boulder, Colo.-based CU's prosperity month program.
