A different way to fundraise

Del Norte Credit Union sponsored a local event to help end local homelessness and drug abuse. Three community members entered a cash machine and, combined, caught a total of $4,500 over the span of 60 seconds. The funds were distributed across three local organizations by the Santa Fe, N.M.-based CU.

Employees and volunteers of Hanscom AFB, Mass.-based Hanscom Federal Credit Union honored military personnel during a Heroes Homecoming parade. The employees and volunteers hosted a recognition ceremony and picnic to welcome service members back home.

Care packages for college

CAP COM Federal Credit Union along with its charitable arm, CAP COM Cares Foundation, selected 27 essay finalists who will each receive a care package for their upcoming college adventure. Packages will include dorm room essentials, such as bedding and school supplies, from the Albany N.Y.-based credit union.
