13 Young CU Execs Selected To Join Filene's i3 Group

The Filene Research Institute and the Center for Credit Union Innovation have chosen 13 credit union executives to join the 26 inaugural members of its i3 group "dedicated to stimulating the development of new ideas and innovations for credit unions via the "next generation" credit union leaders. To qualify, members of i3 had to have the support of their CEO. Each member will serve a three-year term and participate in semi-annual national meetings arranged by Filene, the next of which is April 20-22 in Austin, Texas. A three-tiered application process was developed by Barrick Resources Unlimited to identify qualified candidates. That process included an application with professional experience essay questions, a 100-question behavioral survey, and reference behavioral observations.

The 13 new members are: Bob Falk, Purdue Employees FCU; Lesley Carrell, Rivermark Community CU; Danielle Chatfield, Kemba Financial; Darin Woinarowicz, Orange County Teachers FCU; David Pope, SAFE Credit Union (California); Dwayne Naylor, Local Government FCU; Elizabeth Monroy, Smart Financial Credit Union; Jim Morrell, iQ Credit Union; Linda Armyn, Bethpage FCU; Lisa Landt, First Entertainment Credit Union; Mark Forsyth, National Institutes of Health FCU; Michael Murphy, Motorola Employees CU; Tansley Stearns, BestSource Credit Union.
