15 Colorado CUs Team Up To Launch Food Drive

DENVER-Credit unions in Colorado have launched a food drive to benefit local food banks. The Credit Union Association of Colorado reported that 15 different credit unions are collecting canned goods, non-perishable food items, and monetary donations at their respective branch locations. These items will be allocated to food banks around the state to help fill the shelves in the Denver metro area, Canon City, Colorado Springs, Ft. Collins, Grand Junction, Greeley, Loveland, Meeker, and Pueblo. According to the Food Bank of the Rockies, 12% of Colorado families are concerned about access to food - many are unsure where they will find their next meal.
