Fiserv, Inc. said that is has now exceeded 3,000 clients for Internet banking, with some 3,034 clients now offering Internet banking as of Sept. 30. Fiserv pointed to TowerGroup research showing that an estimated 29.2-million American households conducted at least a portion of their banking online in 2003, up more than 300% from 1999. The number of households banking online is projected by TowerGroup to reach 42.5 million by 2007.
