LOUISVILLE, Ky. – A federal grand jury charged a member of Fort Knox FCU with stealing $5,600 from another member after a teller mistakenly gave him access to the wrong account.
The teller erroneously gave Douglas Calhoun, 45, access to the account of another member with a similar name. Calhoun allegedly withdrew $3,000, and another $2,600 two days later, from the other member’s funds.
Calhoun is charged with taking money under false pretenses.
The bank was determined, by multiple industry rankings and experts, to be the best mobile banking provider in the U.S.. Bank of America took second place.
