SANTIAGO, Chile – Why would women from the U.S. travel to the male-dominated culture of Latin America to learn about female leadership? Perhaps because Chile’s largest credit union has a woman at the helm.
Having crossed the mountains of Peru and trekked through a variety of rural areas, the women participating in the World Council of Credit Union’s Women’s Leadership CU Engagement Program headed to Santiago, Chile to meet with Siria Jeldes Chang, CEO of the $1.2-billion, 370,000-member COOPEUCH CU.
