ABILENE, Texas – Abilene Teachers FCU on Friday donated $118,000 to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Abilene as part of a grand opening of the credit union’s new branch.
The funds were raised during skip-a-payment campaigns for loans in November, December and January that raised $10 for each skipped payment.
This is the eighth year the credit union has donated money to the Boys and Girls Club.
