CLEARWATER, Fla. – Achieva CU, formerly known as Pinellas County Teachers CU, announced yesterday that Joseph Newberry has been hired as its new president and CEO. Newberry has more than 30 years of experience in financial services, most recently as executive vice president of Redstone FCU, in Huntsville, Ala. Achieva has $600 million in assets and serves 65,000 members.
