PALO ALTO, Calif. - (01/27/06) -- Addison Avenue FCU announcedThursday it has agreed to acquire Essex National Securities, Inc.,an investment broker-dealer. Essex National, a wholly ownedsubsidiary of New York-based Essex Corp., will be incorporated intothe credit union giant's Addison Avenue Financial Partners CUSO asa stand-alone third-party broker-dealer. Essex National was foundedmore than 15 years ago and is based in Napa, Calif. Terms of thedeal were not disclosed.
