DALLAS – Advancial FCU yesterday said it has acquired the Reconnex iGuard data loss prevention system to prevent member information from leaving its network.

The system will guard against confidential data leaks and monitor the credit union’s network infrastructure. The Reconnex iGuard also allows the $600 million credit union to make sure no inappropriate content is moving through its e-mail system.
All content is routed through the credit union’s Dallas headquarters, which is secured by firewall and filtering systems.
Reconnex is based in Mountain View, Calif.
