Danny Gregg, the long-time president and CEO of Police Federal Credit Union of Upper Marlboro, Md., announced plans to retire.
A spokesperson for D. Hilton Associates of The Woodlands, Texas, which will search for Gregg’s successor, told Credit Union Journal that he will step down at the “end of December, beginning of January.”
Gregg took over the leadership of the credit union in 1995 and during his time as president and CEO, he guided the organization’s growth to more than 11,000 members and assets of more than $145 million.
Prior to his tenure at the credit union, he spent more than 24 years working for the Metropolitan Police Department of Washington, D.C.
“It has been an honor serving the membership of Police FCU for the past 23 years, I am confident that with the continued hard work, dedication, and the sound guidance from our board of directors, Police FCU will continue on its journey of serving the law enforcement community for many generations to come,” stated Danny.
Police FCU posted net income of about $466,000 in the first half of 2018, after recording net income of about $822,000 in calendar 2017.
