PENNINGTON, Ala. – Naheola Mill Employees CU said it has acquired to branches from Alabama Central CU, in nearby Creola and Demopolis for about $1.5 million.
The Creola branch is scheduled to open April 7 and the Demopolis branch on June 2.
The $70 million Naheola Millis Employees CU was chartered in 1959 to serve employees at Marathon Paper Co., now Georgia Pacific, in the small town of Naheola.
