IRONDALE, Ala. - (06/08/05) -- Corporate America CU said it hassigned with Metavante's Advanced Financial Solutions unit toimplement the company's AFS branch capture, check image exchangeand IRD solution to expand its Check 21 item processing offerings.The new solution will complement the suite of Check 21 image-baseditem processing and check clearing solutions that Corporate AmericaCU makes available to its 200 credit union members. AFS BranchCapture allows Corporate America's member credit unions toimage-capture and truncate check transactions at the branches, thentransmit the images to the corporate's regional image-itemprocessing center. It also eliminates the microfilming oftransactions at the branches and provides the foundation for checkimage exchange.
