ANCHORAGE, Alaska - (07/01/04) -- Alaska USA FCU said it has obtainedapproval form the Alaska Housing Finance Corp. to provide $1.6million in long-term financing for the purchase of a 30-unitapartment complex in Anchorage. The loan was financed under theAHFC's Multifamily Loan Purchase Program which provides financingassistance for affordable housing projects across the state. Theprogram has helped finance 587 loans in mortgageprojects.
