TNB Acquires Five Portfolios

DALLAS-TNB Card Services has purchased the credit card portfolios of five more credit unions and is converting those card portfolios to TNB's agent issuing program.

The total number of programs TNB has purchased is now more than 120. Credit unions selling their portfolios to TNB were: Potelco United CU in Pocatello, Idaho; BRECO FCU in Baton Rouge, La.; Northern Tier FCU in Minot, N.D.; KEMBA Louisville CU in Kentucky, and Salmon Falls Community CU in Somersworth, N.H. TNB's purchase of the five programs netted some 5,500 card accounts with nearly $7 million in outstanding balances.

Pemco Adds Marketing

SEATTLE-Pemco Technologies is offering its customers pre-designed, no-cost materials for marketing card services or other products. Pemco has developed seven-piece marketing campaigns, consisting of templates for a lobby poster, web ad, postcard, letterhead, envelope, statement stuffer, and counter display tent.

Each campaign has its own design theme, and each is tailored to a different promotional or educational subject (awards, balance transfer, fraud prevention, etc.) At least one new set of materials is offered each month.

WTFCU's Selects PSCU-FS

KENSINGTON, Md.-Washington Telephone FCU here has signed an agreement to convert its 8,000 credit card accounts to the CreditAbility platform from PSCU Financial Services, St. Petersburg, Fla. The conversion will take place in July 2007.

The credit union is moving from its previous credit processing platform to gain the ability to launch a variety of targeted promotions and to customize its program to appeal to various segments of its membership. In addition, CreditAbility offers 24/7 support from PSCU Financial Services' call centers and access to expert advice from the cooperative's AdvisorsPlus staff.
