America First CU Shoes Needy Children

ROY, Utah – America First CU, as part of its annual shoes for the needy Christmas promotion, provided 500 students with a new pair of shoes.

The credit union, in partnership with JC Penney, provided shoes to 300 elementary school students, as well as 100 military children at Hill Air Force Base and 100 children through the Box Elder County social services.

The $4 billion credit union has given out shoes every year since 1993. To date, it has provided 52,337 pairs of shoes.

The program is funded entirely by donations from union members and employees. America First employees also volunteer their time to measure each child’s feet.
