American Heritage FCU Gives $100,000 To Fund Music Therapy For Kids

PHILADELPHIA – American Heritage FCU donated $100,000 to the Children’s Seashore House of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia to fund the Music Therapy Program at the hospital.

The money will pay for musical equipment, providing the hospital with a music therapist, and bringing in musical performers specially trained in assisting children with developmental disabilities.

The Children’s Seashore House is a regional teaching hospital offering specialized care and rehabilitation to children with developmental disabilities or chronic illnesses. The $100,000 donation, a $20,000 increase from last year, continues the credit union’s on-going support of the hospital’s Music Therapy Program.
