PHILADELPHIA– American Heritage FCU has made a $75,000 donation to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. The funds, raised by AHFCU’s Kids-N-Hope Foundation, were raised over a year of fundraising and will go toward the CU’s ongoing support of the Music Therapy Program at the Children’s Seashore House, the long-term care facility at Children’s Hospital.
The Kids-N-Hope Foundation support funds the purchase of instruments and helps pay the salaries of Music Therapists. Among the events at which funds were raised were a Gelatin Olympics in June and a golf tournament in October.
In addition, the credit union donated $5 to the Kids-N-Hope Foundation for every member who signed up for e-Statements during a two-month promotion and every member who responded to its member survey.
