MECHANICSBURG, Penn. – AmeriChoice FCU is walking down the aisle with young couples in south central Pennsylvania during a reality TV show about nuptials that explores the finances of marriage.
The reality series, called Wedding in Style, follows a couple through a series of financial mileposts, including financing their wedding and honeymoon, combining their finances, and obtaining a mortgage to buy their first home.
The show premiered Monday night at 7:30 p.m., before “The Bachelorette” on ABC27, Harrisburg, and will continue to air on the last Monday of every month.
“This reality program is a great tool for us to reach out to young couples and help them make educated decisions at the beginning of their marriage and avoid future financial mistakes,” said Carol Fastrich, vice president of marketing for the $175 million credit union.
