LEAGUE CITY, Texas – AMOCO FCU donated more than $33,000 to five local food banks last month.
In October 2010, the credit union pledged to donate $25 to Galveston County food pantries for every vehicle financed with during the months of October, November and December 2010.
The recipients of the donations are: St. Vincent de Paul (Texas City), H.I.S. Ministries (Santa Fe), M.I. Lewis Social Service Center (Dickinson), Interfaith Caring Ministries (League City), and Hope Village Residential & Support Services (Friendswood).
