Another Money-Losing CU to Merge

ST. PAUL, Minn. – St. Paul FCU yesterday said it has agreed to merge with Capital Trust FCU, creating one of the largest credit unions in the Twin Cities with almost $140 million in assets.

Capital Trust FCU, with almost $47 million in assets, reported $270,000 in losses for 2007.

The combination is expected to take place Sept. 1, with the $90 million St. Paul FCU being the surviving credit union.
