TWIN FALLS, Idaho – Times-News Employees FCU became the latest newspaper employees’ credit union to print a final edition with a merger into $5-million Magic Valley FCU.

The tiny credit union, with just $210,000 in assets, served employees of the Times-News Publishing Company, which prints the local daily newspaper in Twin Falls.
Times-New Employees FCU joins: Birmingham News Employees CU; Charleston (W.Va.) Newspapers FCU; Media Hawaii FCU; Madison News CU; Fort Worth Telegram Employees FCU; Boston Globe Employees CU; (New Orleans) Times Picayune Employees CU; and, First Edition Community CU, all of which printed final editions over the past three years.
