NEW YORK - (05/11/05) Cyota, a provider of onlinefraud and phishing solutions, said three credit union clients havecontracted for its anti-pharming software, billed as theworlds first solution designed to fight pharming, a new typeof online fraud. Pharming, also known as DNS Poisoning or DNSSpoofing, redirects web site users to a spoofed web site, an exactreplica of the credit unions or banks site, werefraudsters simply harvest personal financial information forcriminal use. The credit union clients are: Navy FCU, BoeingEmployees CU and Pennsylvania State Employees CU.
