Arizona State CU Launches Social Website HelpingAZ.com

PHOENIX – Arizona State CU has created a social networking website designed to assist Arizona state employees, university employees and others who have been impacted by the economy, layoffs and furloughs.

The site, at HelpingAZ.com, will serve as a forum allowing open dialogue in an effort to foster community building. People will be able to share leads for current job openings and opportunities, as well as find links to beneficial resources based on visitor postings.

Other tools will include up-to-date state budget information, unemployment benefit information, money saving tips and financial assistance, all developed by active online community participants.

In addition, the $1.3 billion credit union has developed custom online financial assistance programs to help state and university employees through budget cuts and free financial assistance programs available to all members.
