WHITTIER, Calif. - (04/06/05) -- Three handgun-wielding bandits heldup Whittier Municipal Employees CU soon after opening Mondaymorning and made off with $100,000. Police are working to determinewhether the robbery was linked to any recent bank or credit unionrobberies in the area. The three robbers, all wearing masks,entered the credit union and ordered employees and members to theground before escaping with the cash.
