The credit union used a “love letter” theme in asking members to participate, and 6,895 did so. The letters and petitions have been compiled in binders that are being presented tomorrow to Rep. Cathy McMorris. Meetings have been scheduled with the state’s two senators.

The campaign is part of the broader, CUNA-backed “Don’t Tax My CU” initiative.
