SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. - Fidelity FCU, a former GM employees credit union, has moved its offices here from nearby Atlanta and has converted to a community charter serving the city of Sandy Springs to make way for the closing of the General Motors plant.
The $35-million credit union, formerly called Circle 10 FCU, was chartered in 1961 by a small group of hourly workers at the General Motors plant in nearby Doraville, which is slated for closing.
As part of the charter change, the credit union is adding two new locations in Sandy Springs. (c) 2007 The Credit Union Journal and SourceMedia, Inc. All Rights Reserved. http://www.cujournal.com http://www.sourcemedia.com
