ALEXANDRIA, Va.-The critical issue now for many credit unions, corporates and other observers is what form will the final NCUA corporate rule take, and when will NCUA release the overhaul to Part 704 of the FCU Act.
CUNA's Mary Dunn said last week the trade group believes the agency will formally introduce the plan at its Sept. 16 board meeting. Several analysts at the CUNA/WOCCU 1 CU Conference last week said they expect the final rule will closely resemble the proposed rule, despite extensive comment from the credit union community.
