Banker Named CEO At Bay State’s Grafton Suburban CU

GRAFTON, Mass. Grafton Suburban CU has hired Lloyd Hamm Jr., chief administrative officer at local Eastern Bank, as president and CEO of the $130-million, western Mass. credit union.

Hamm is succeeding Ed Lopes, who left in February to be CEO at $620-million Liberty Bay CU in Braintree.

Hamm is scheduled to join the credit union April 8.

Hamm lives in nearby Upton and is a trustee of the Massachusetts Taxpayers Foundation, a board member of Junior Achievement of New England and a member of the Worcester Economic Club.
