Banker Nominated As Banking Secretary in Pennsylvania

HARRISBURG, Penn.-Pennsylvania Gov.-elect Tom Corbett has nominated Glenn Moyer to be his Banking Secretary.

Moyer, 59, has spent almost his entire career in the banking industry, most recently as President and CEO of National Penn Bancshares, Inc. He serves as a senior adviser to the Penn Bancshare's CEO. Moyer also serves as the Director of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association.

In a statement, Jim McCormack, president of the Pennsylvania CU Association, said, "we look forward to working with a new banking secretary and sharing information on issues of importance to Pennsylvania credit unions."
