Bare-Chested Bandit Charged With Robbery At Wright-Patt CU Three Times

Police said 37-year-old Derrick Kidd was arrested down the block from the branch after he fled his foiled robbery attempt.

A sheriff's deputy working as a security detail at the credit union repeatedly asked the suspect to remove his hat after he came into the branch. The assailant refused, then passed a demand note to a teller. A scuffle ensued during which the suspect’s coat and shirt were torn off of him and he fled into the street.
