TAMPA, Fla.-Last year's American League Rookie of the Year is taking the field on behalf of GTE Federal Credit Union as Tampa Bay Rays third baseman Evan Longoria is the spokesman for the CU giant's new U22 product; an account designed specifically for 12 to 22 year-olds.

Longoria took part in a photoshot at the defending American League Champions' home turf of Tropicana Field to promote the U22 debit card and lent his voice to a number of radio spots that will air during Rays' games.
Young people who sign up for a new U22 account by Sept. 5 will receive two free Rays tickets and even get a chance to meet Longoria before a game.
