Beehive CU said it has signed with Comodo to provide it with a mutual authentication solution for increased verification and online security.
Mutual authentication systems allow both sides of a transaction to verify each other.
Comodo's patent-pending "See, Verify, Trust" technology incorporates digital certificates to authenticate a user. Beehive CU is also employing Comodo's e-mail certificates to ensure that when a member reads an e-mail from the credit union, the member can be sure that the sender is not a fraudster. E-mail certificates will also be used to encrypt sensitive communication within the credit union.
