BECU closed branches at Safeways in Olympia and West Olympia and Lacey at the end of July while it was opening the branch in nearby Hawks Prairie. The three Safeway stores will continue to have BECU ATMs.

The $8.6 billion credit union still operates branches in at least four other Safeways.
