BECU Plans $62,500 In Scholarships

TUKWILA, Wash. – BECU said its BECU Foundation plans to award at least 25 merit-based scholarships this year, each for $2,500.

Each year, the BECU Foundation also awards two scholarships to honor the memory of two past BECU executives: W. Jim Roller, former CEO of BECU Financial Services, and M. Bud Jewell, former president and CEO. These honors go to the top scoring high school and college scholarship recipients.

The BECU Foundation has awarded more than $1 million in scholarships to outstanding BECU members since 1995.
