WOODBRIDGE, Va. Belvoir FCU has implemented a new technology called DigitalPersona, a biometrics fingerprint authentication system, for its employees.
According to the company, DigitalPersona offers state-of-the-art Software Development Kits that are used globally to add fingerprint authentication to commercial applications. The fingerprint reader makes biometrics straightforward and reliable, it said.
“Through the implementation of DigitalPersona, we have found it has significantly enhanced security, reduced tech support calls and increased efficacies for employees companywide. We are always looking for ways to help the employees serve members more efficiently,” said George Ksenics, director of information technology for the $280-million credit union.
