Benson Named CEO At EPL, Inc.

Wayne Benson has been named CEO of EPL, Inc., the credit union-owned data processing company that serves more than 100 CUs. Benson had been serving as EVP/chief marketing officer after joining the company in 2004. Prior to that Benson was known to many following a 25-year career with CUNA Mutual Group.

"The board and I felt this is an excellent time to elevate him to CEO where he can lead the company to best serve our valued present customers, continue to work on further enhancements to our products and services, and attract new business to EPL," said Gary Wolter, president of the Alabama league, which is an owner in EPL.

The 28-year-old, 140-employee EPL offers an open system architecture and an i-POWER solution that utilizes Oracle and runs on a Sun Microsystems platform.
