SAN FRANCISCO Better Branches Technology introduced a new way to measure lobby and teller interactions this morning that records every branch visit in real time, instead of by measuring transactions.
The new Better Lobby modules, called Better Lobby/Teller and Staff Scheduler, are aimed at helping credit unions improve member service quality, optimize branch performance, and control expenses.
The Teller Visit Recorder provides granular tracking, including reports on Teller Average Visit Duration, Back-to-Back Teller Visits, Branch Visit Volume, and Branch Teller Utilization. It also provides an important real time measure of “teller busyness” at each branch.
“Initial reaction by staff is very positive and staff really like the streamlined and intuitive interface,” said Rick Poulton, president of Better Branches, noting the solution was developed with an unnamed 200,000-member credit union.
Better Branches is the marketer, among other things, of the Mobile and Web Wait Time, a mobile indicator that tells members over their smartphones or home PCs the real-time lobby wait times before they go to the branch so they can better plan their visits.
