COSTA MESA, Calif. - (12/05/05) -- An armed robber suspected in as manyas 25 area hold-ups--including last week's as California Coast CU--was arrested Friday morning at a motel here after a police receiveda telephone tip. Amir Hossein Saadat, also known as Mike Saadat,was captured after police surrounded his Vagabond Inn motel roomlate Thursday night and called inside. Also arrested at the scenewas Saadat's father, Hossein Ali Saadat, who was being held onsuspicion of being an accessory to a felony. Saadat was dubbed the'Big Nose' bandit because of his appearance on surveillancevideos.
