HARRISBURG, Pa. - (09/29/04) -- More than 225 billboards acrossPennsylvania will call on consumers next month to 'Use A CreditUnion--The Smarter Choice,' as part of the Pennsylvania CUassociation's statewide advertising campaign. The billboards willfeature three different designs: one surrounding a young graduate;another with a woman being handed her own car keys; and a thirdwith a family of four at the front door of their new home. The adcampaign will also include 2,500 radio and TV spots. About 275credit unions have contributed to the $157,000 cost of the adcampaign, which will run through the month of October, Internal CUMonth. Diane Powell, public relation specialist for theassociation, told The Credit Union Journal, the ads will betargeted in those markets served by participating creditunions.
