SAN DIEGO - (09/21/04) -- Employees and members from areacredit unions donated more than 265 pints of blood during a '11Days in September,' a blood drive the first 11 days of the month tocommemorate those killed during the attacks on the World TradeCenter. The 11-day event, which benefited the San Diego Blood Bank,included a variety of promotions, like Financial 21 Community CU'sblood drive fiesta featuring music, dancing, child identificationand face painting. A total of 33 credit unionsparticipated.
