HUNTINGTON, Ind. – The manager of a Beacon CU branch was accosted by two armed robbers as she arrived to work yesterday, then tied up as they rifled the vault and made off with thousands of dollars in cash.

Police say a lone female manager showed up about 7:45 a.m. to open the credit union, when two armed men wearing masks came up from behind, forced her inside, and made her take bills from a safe.
The woman says she was then tied up and left in a vault before the men ran out and fled on foot.
The branch manager freed herself and called 911.
