Burglar Turns Himself In After $67,000 CU Heist

GEONA, Ill. – A man who broke into Illinois Community CU Friday night and stole $67,000 in cash turned himself in to police Saturday morning and all of the stolen cash was recovered.

Authorities discovered substantial damage to the property when they responded to the alarm, according to police.

Rodger McCoy, 49, was charged with felony counts of burglary, theft and criminal damage to property.
