Centris FCU Gives Away Smart Car To Celebrate 75th Anniversary

OMAHA, Neb. – A local businessman won a 2009 Smart car as part of the 75th anniversary celebration of Centris FCU.

The winner’s name was drawn from more than 10,000 entries. The purple car with the Centris logo came as white with black trim, once the promotional vehicle wrap was removed.

Nebraska’s biggest credit union, $400 million Centris was chartered in 1934 as Omaha Telephone Employees FCU, then became Bell FCU in 1974, before it was renamed Centris in 2000.
