CEO of Miami Firefighters Federal Credit Union to retire

Patrick Totten plans to retire from his position as president and CEO of Miami Firefighters Federal Credit Union in Florida.

The $152 million-asset credit union said Totten will step down from the role he's held since 2010 once a successor has been chosen.

Miami Firefighters FCU hired Humanidei + O’Rourke to lead the search for its next CEO.

“During Mr. Totten’s leadership of the credit union, he made innovative and substantial contributions to the credit union’s growth and success, for which the board of directors will be forever grateful,” Terry Remland, the credit union's chairman, said in a press release Wednesday.

Miami Firefighters FCU earned $333,000 in the first three months of 2022, a 25% increase from a year earlier, according to call report data from the National Credit Union Administration.
