CEO Retires After 26 Years Heading New York’s Tonawanda Valley FCU

BATAVIA, N.Y. – Tonawanda Valley FCU on Wednesday said Susan Blanchard, its CEO since 1987, is retiring March 15 from the $70-million credit union.

Blanchard has worked in credit unions for 33 years. She was hired in 1987 when Batavia FCU merged with Education Employees FCU.
